We spent two nights in Hot Springs on our way to Missouri, it was more of just a break from driving but I actually ended up loving the town and would love to go back some time. We stayed at a beautiful hotel that is in a renovated building that was built in 1913. It was really unique and also in a prime location right on the main street where you could walk to restaurants and shops. http://www.thewatershs.com

While we were there we hiked up to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower, you can also drive up to the observation tower if you would rather. This was conveniently located directly across the street from the hotel. We also went on a tour of one of the old bath houses, that was really crazy to see some of the old strange ways they used to try and heal people.

We love to ask locals (hotel employee, uber driver, etc) where to eat it always turns out to be awesome. The guy at the front desk told us about a pizza place in town Deluca’s Pizzeria that you actually had to call and reserve the dough 501-609-9002 for your pizzas earlier in the day for dinner. Apparently they only make so much each day and it sells out pretty quick. We ordered way too much but he was right it was really, really good. We also stopped at a super cute brewery http://www.superiorbathhouse.com and had a huge breakfast at http://www.pancakeshop.com
